Just bring Four traps, whirling defense, troll ungent, serpents quickness, and a rez. If you know how to use Oath Shot that's a possiblity, but I'd not worry to much about that, you're main purpose is to soften things up initially.

<Edit> Now that I think about it... Read 'The Deep Guide' from GuildWiki. It'll fill you in on the times the trapper steps up.

Your gonna want an interrupt on some characters to defeat last boss. So if your a trapper and right up in his nose, savage shot is the skill to take. With a 5 sec recharge youll have massive time to trap , savage, trap, savage, etc, depending on when he uses that healing skill of his.

I've actually never used a ranger in a group for a deep run. I hear a lot about them being used in Urgoz (which I have yet to try), but I join Deep groups pretty often and generally have a group with W/As, MS Nuker eles, HP Monks, BiP necro, and a SS necro.

As for interupts, it is completely unnecessary for the ranger to bring an interupt generally since the SS tends to have Spinal Shivers and Inspired Enchantment to prevent and remove Kanaxai's enchant respectively.

Rangers are not that good in the Deep, same as warriors in Urgoz.
As a ranger you should go to Urgoz. And set up for trapp with eoe, or as B/P
